K-Pax by Gene Brewer

I enjoyed the movie and the book.

I did get annoyed with Dr. Brewer's hang up about his father.
He hated that his father (who died while he was young) "forced" him to be a Doctor.
A man wanting his son to follow in his footsteps is not unusual.

I like what K-Pax had to say.

And Another Thing...The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Book 6 by Eoin Colfer

I'm always a little leery of someone continuing a dead author's series. But I got it at the dollar store. So I went in with low expectations and enjoyed the silly nonsense.

Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe

Not what I expected. The book is different from all the movie adaptations I've seen.

Dead Man Docking by Mary Daheim

Disapointing.

Judith was a grouch.

The characters on the boat were not well developed. As Judith thought herself when reviewing things - they are caricatures not characters.

Big Eyes

I really enjoyed it.

It was funny how people reacted. The one reporter was just mad that she didn't bring the story to him. The critic who always hated the painting asked why would someone want the credit?

When the witness came to her door they said the scripture is in Timothy, they should have said 1st Timothy.

THX-1138

The commentary helped a lot, but I found it disappointing. I did find parts amusing. The end left me going so what.

Hunger Games

They did a pretty good job of translating it to a movie.

Some things were lost of course.
