The Collectors David Baldacci

A good thriller.

There are two story lines:
Oliver Stone's investigation of a librarians death leads to evidence of a spy ring.
Annabelle plots a con.

The two stories join together. And part is left to continue in the next book.

Listening to it with different voices and readers for each character made it odd when the narrator would say things like - he said, after a line of dialogue.

Only Love by Erich Segal

I enjoyed it more than I expected.

Erich Segal is the writer of Love Story a movie I hated.

So I was surprised to like this.

Five Past Midnight by James Thayer

A good story. When Captain Jack Cray escapes the prisoner of war camp and heads towards Berlin, the Germans believe he plans to assassinate Hitler. A detective is given the job of finding him and stopping him. The detective is a man of integrity and struggles with what those in charge of Germany have become.

I really enjoyed it.

Witch by Christopher Pike

Julia was told never look into the pond when the moon is shining in it.

When she does she sees the death of a boy she never met. The boy turns out to be her best friend's new boyfriend. When Julia tries to prevent the future she saw it starts a string of bad events.

Meh, an okay YA story.

Saving Mr. Banks

I enjoyed it. Mrs. Travers was like the book Mary Poppins.
