The Demon's Daughter
Jun. 19th, 2011 10:58 amI received this book in a swap. I expected to hate it, but I actually liked it.
The "Demons" are not really demons, they are another species discovered living in the far north in an alternate universe.
I wish the author had named them something else. It is misleading. I guess that she is cashing in on the Paranormal craze.
It's not Paranormal it is Steampunk romance! But I don't think there is a category for that.
Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction, alternate history, and speculative fiction that came into prominence during the 1980s and early 1990s. Specifically, steampunk involves an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century and often Victorian era Britain—that incorporates prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy.
But it is a good story.I skimmed past the sex scenes.
The main characters were very likable and I wanted them to end up together and happy.
